- Tool
- An instrument for other work, in any material.
- Software
- Programs and systems meant to be relied on and understood.
- Writing
- Essays, notes and the reasoning behind the work.
- Research
- Questions worked through carefully, with the findings kept.
- Experiment
- A small test, honest about being one.
State
Where it is in its life.
- Exploration
- An idea being tested. It may not continue.
- In progress
- Being made. Expect it to change.
- In use
- Finished enough to rely on, within its stated limits.
- Maintained
- Looked after and repaired, but no longer growing.
- Paused
- Set down for now. The entry says why.
- Retired
- No longer kept. Its entry stays, with the reason, so it can still be understood.
